Do you see in your children a lot of energy without a cause or with undeveloped artistic talents? Are you looking for an activity that will take them away from technology and open the doors to creativity and the development of new acting skills?
The MIFA Children and Youth Theater Assembly Workshop opens its doors for you!
Promoting confidence and personal expression, developing motor skills, creativity and teamwork are some of the premises with which your children will be enriched.
With a four-month program (February to May 2025), we will walk through the arts that make THEATRE possible, closing with a sample of the participants' work to be presented in our "Empty Space".
We will resume classes with the academic period from September 2025 to May 2026, date on which the piece "El Dia que Cambio la Vida del Sr. Odio" would be presented by the students in their professional graduation assembly.
ACTIVITIES AND SCHEDULE
GROUP 1: MONDAY and WEDNESDAY - 3 TO 5PM
GROUP 2: MONDAY and WEDNESDAY - 5 TO 7PM
GROUP 3: TUESDAY AND THURSDAY - 3 TO 5PM
GROUP 4: TUESDAY AND THURSDAY - 5 TO 7PM
GROUP 5: SATURDAY - 10 TO 2PM
GROUP 6: SATURDAY - 2 TO 6PM
Monthly: $200 per student monthly. (16 hours per week)
Quarterly: (5% discount).
Annual: (10% discount).
+$100 Registration fee
ONE THEATRE CLASS: $50
Courses will be opened starting with 5 registrants. You will be notified by email and/or telephone of the exact start date of activities.

Her journey has been defined by a passion for storytelling and an undeniable talent that has earned her accolades like the Municipal Theater Award, Avencrit Best Actress Award, and the Mara de Oro Internacional. Layla’s path has been anything but conventional. She’s starred in more than 25 theatrical productions, directed award-winning plays like La Cocinera, and established her production house, Open Doors Productions Llc., in Miami, where she created thought-provoking works such as Kassandra and El día que cambió la vida del señor Odio. As an acting coach and mentor, Layla has made it her mission to cultivate the next generation of artists. Now, as the new resident artist of MIFA’s Empty Space, Layla Vargas is set to debut Sr. Odio, a unique creation born from MIFA’s children and youth theater lab.
