Meet MIFA's artist residents — a diverse community of local and international artists working and exhibiting at Miami International Fine Arts.
Olga García-Mayoral is a Miami-based curator, art critic, cultural writer, and multidisciplinary artist whose work sits at the intersection of memory, theology, cultural identity, and community activism. She serves as Operations Manager at the International Art Project Foundation, art critic and writer for Artburst Miami, and independent curator through her practice OGCURATED®. As a visual artist, she is the creator of Nunc Coepi — a mixed media panel series that fuses Catholic devotion with contemporary textures and global iconography. She currently serves as curator at Miami International Fine Arts.
Adriana Zubikarai is a curator whose main focus is to be a creative partner to the artist. Managing the practical aspects of bringing a project to life as well as creating a bridge between the work and the public.
Through her exhibitions, Adriana brings together artists whose practices explore transformation, perception, and the systems of relationships that shape us, with particular attention to care, connection. She has curated exhibitions in diverse contexts, from alternative spaces and furniture stores to established institutions such as the Salmagundi Club in New York. Based in Miami, she continues to develop her curatorial practice through exhibitions that foster dialogue, connection, and new ways of seeing
Tayina Deravile is a Miami-based curator and cultural arts practitioner whose work explores identity, belonging, and placemaking. She holds a background in Psychology and Mental Health Counseling, and has worked at the NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale and Girls' Club — the only private collection in the world dedicated to contemporary art by women. She currently serves as Resident Curator at Miami International Fine Arts.
Shirley Moreira is a Miami-based curator and art critic with a background in Art History from the University of Havana. Her practice spans exhibition development, critical writing, and art advisory, with a focus on contemporary Latin American art and its dialogue with broader cultural conversations.
