Artist Residency

MIFA provides 24 private indoor artist studios, with monthly studio fees ranging from $500 to $1,500 depending on the size and location of the space.

MIFA is committed to keeping professional studio space accessible and actively pursues funding opportunities to provide partial or full residency scholarships when available.

Residency at MIFA is designed to support both artistic production and professional growth. Residents become part of an active creative ecosystem that includes exhibitions, Open Studios, educational programs, visiting curators, collaborative projects, and opportunities to connect with Miami’s wider arts community.

After completing one full year of residency, artists become eligible to submit a proposal for a solo exhibition at MIFA, subject to curatorial review and gallery availability. Selected projects can be developed with curatorial guidance as the artist prepares the exhibition.
