Open Call for Printmaking Artists in Miami

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking complete, exhibition-ready proposals by individual printmakers, duos, or collectives whose work is rooted in printmaking. Proposals may include traditional, experimental, hybrid, or expanded approaches to the medium, provided that printmaking remains central to the project.

Because the corridor has a specific architectural flow, applicants should submit the exhibition as a resolved proposal rather than as a general portfolio submission.

YOUR PROPOSAL SHOULD INCLUDE

• Exhibition title
• Brief curatorial/conceptual statement
• Proposed curatorial route/sequence of works through the corridor
• Installation render or clear visual mockup showing how the exhibition will inhabit the space
• Complete artwork list including title, year, medium, and dimensions
• Images of the proposed works

Applicants should combine these materials into one clear PDF whenever possible.

Proposals will be reviewed for artistic strength, relationship to printmaking, curatorial coherence, use of the corridor, and installation feasibility.

Selected artists will coordinate exhibition dates and installation logistics directly with MIFA.

OPTIONAL PUBLIC PROGRAM

Applicants may also propose a printmaking workshop to accompany the exhibition. Proposing a workshop is completely optional and does not affect the exhibition selection process.
