Teen Masters Program
Most teens learn art as a hobby. This program trains them like artists.
The Teen Masters Program is an immersive course for passionate teens (ages 13–17) ready to go beyond basics and master classical drawing and painting — the same foundational techniques used by professional artists today.
Whether your teen is building a portfolio for art school applications, exploring a future creative career, or simply wants to take their skills seriously, this Saturday program offers structured, professional-level training — not just another art class.
What They'll Learn:
- Foundations of Drawing — sight-size method, contour, shading, and gesture
- Tonal Studies — value, light, and shadow to build realistic form
- Painting Techniques — grisaille, underpainting, color mixing, and glazing
- Art History Integration — learning from the masters who came before
- Personal Projects — original works developed with professional guidance
- Progressive Structure — students move from drawing into painting across the year
Many of our Teen Masters go on to build portfolios for competitive art school applications.
