MIFA's Mixed Media Full Program offers flexibility for your
Technical Approach:
Investigate diverse art-making technical applications challenging form and content.
Combine traditional and new materials for individualized exploration.
Develop formal and technical skills in relation to personal evolution.
Introduce contemporary materials precedents as part of the comprehensive program.
Course Objectives:
Explore "mixed media" through a wide range of materials for new forms of expression.
Contextualize mixed media practices within a historical context through artist studies.
Develop visual vocabularies and awareness through studio assignments.
Build a cohesive visual language and formulate a body of work.
Maintain a collection of references, drawings, and notes to explore material transformation.
Present a cohesive body of work at the course conclusion.
Full Time:
Completed in 4 Trimesters.
3 days a week (6 hours/day).
Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, 9:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. and 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
Tuition: Trimester $2,420.00, Monthly $825.00.

She received her B.F.A. in Fine Arts, mention in Education from the Universidad Católica Cecilio Acosta in Venezuela. She also has a

She received her B.F.A. in Fine Arts, mention in Education from the Universidad Católica Cecilio Acosta in Venezuela. She also has a complete education that includes studying with master painters Abdon J. Romero, Daniel Gerhartz, Daniel Graves and Morgan Weistling in addition to her learning experiences studying in her travels to the best museums and galleries in the world. She currently lives and works in Miami, USA. Since moving here over two decades ago, she has concentrated in the field of fine art instruction and pursued a career as an artist. Her teaching and work experience includes Art Florida Academy (formerly Romero Hidalgo Artists' Studios) and since March 2020 at Miami International Fine Arts MIFA as director and instructor of the MIFA Mixed Media program.
