He studied at renowned institutions, including the École Royale des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, the Art Students League of New York, and the Escuela Departamental de Bellas Artes in Cali, Colombia.
His technical expertise and distinctive style have earned him solo exhibitions at the Museo Rayo in Colombia and galleries in Berlin, Miami, and New York. Notable group shows include the Bienal de San Juan del Grabado Latinoamericano and exhibitions at the African Museum of Life and Culture in Dallas.
Salcedo's work is part of prestigious collections, such as the Library of Congress and the Irish Museum of Modern Art. Among his many accolades, he received First Prize at the Bienal de Gráfica Latinoamericana in Puerto Rico and the Gold Medal at "Art pour Tous" in Brussels. He continues to create and teach from his studio in Miami, maintaining a lifelong commitment to printmaking.
