This exhibition invites artists to reflect on the physical, emotional, or metaphorical journeys that define our lives. Whether capturing the tension of being neither here nor there, or the beauty found in movement and transformation, this concept centers on the uncertainty, discovery, and self-reflection that occur in transit.
Submission Details:
Artists are invited to submit their best works that are produced in the last 3 years.
Submission fee: $20 (non-refundable).
Deadline for submissions: May 1, 2025.
Accepted mediums include but are not limited to oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, and mixed media.
Each artist may submit up to 10 images for each work (maximum 10 images in the application)

The artist is responsible for paying the shipping back and forth if their work is selected.
To ensure that all the artwork meets the gallery's standards, it's important to mention that each piece must be ready to hang. Specifically, any artwork that does not have proper hanging hardware, such as high rings, will not be displayed. This requirement is essential for maintaining the professional presentation and safety of the exhibition.

Selected artworks will be displayed at The Miami International Fine Arts, offering artists unparalleled exposure to the vibrant Miami art scene.
Participating artists will have the opportunity to showcase their work to a diverse audience of art enthusiasts, collectors, and industry professionals.
2nd and 3rd Place Certificate Awards will be presented to outstanding works selected by the jurors.
The 1st place winner will receive the opportunity to have a solo exhibition at MIFA, valued at $3,000.*
Artist Participation:
While not mandatory, selected artists are encouraged to attend the exhibition opening on June 6, 2025. This event provides an excellent opportunity for artists to connect with the local art community, collectors, and fellow participants.

Yi Chin is a Taiwanese curator based in Miami, Florida. She holds a BFA in visual design from National Taiwan Normal University, and a MFA in visual arts from Florida International University. Yi Chin is a Taiwanese curator based in Miami, Florida. She holds a BFA in visual design from National Taiwan Normal University, and a MFA in visual arts from Florida International University. Her curatorial practice explores collaboration and artistic practice with artists. Her research interests are in curatorial methods under the discussion of exhibition forms, collectiveness, and contemporary visual culture in response to the current time, and aims to communicate the idea of blurring the line between the artist-as- curator and the curator-as-artist.
Yi Chin has realized several curatorial projects at the Wolfsonian Museum, the Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum, Spinello Projects, The Collective 62, Laundromat Art Space, Tempus Projects, to name a few. She is a recipient of the WaveMaker Grant (2023), Ellies Creator Awards (2022), The Harald Szeemann Grant awardee of IKT: International Association of Curators of Contemporary Art (2022), and the Artist Open House program awardee of City of Miami Beach (2021). Her publications were featured on Art Now Pakistan, UNAFRAID magazine, amongst others.
Besides her independent curatorial practice, Yi Chin is also a working art professional in galleries, digital programming and collections. She worked with national institutions and organizations such as Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, the Harpo Foundation, Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum as well as other private collections.
